Ned and Family,
Mere words cannot express the saddness that my family and I feel at this time with the passing of Gay. I take comfort in knowing that the memories I hold of the times spent with Gay make me smile and feel loved. She had a way of making everyone infer that they were special and had meaning on this earth. I will miss her open arms for the plethora of hugs she gave me and her warm smile. God bless.Denise Malm and Family / Fishers, Indiana / dmalm@remax.net

Our most sincere and heartfel sympathy is being sent to Ned and family in the passing of Gay. She was always so pleasant to speak with when we called your home with reminder calls. We're glad we got to see her in June when you both visited the office. She will be missed by all of us.
Ned, we look forward to seeing you in August. You know you're one of our favorites. We also expect the latest update on those dogs. God Bless you Ned and your family.Jenny, Fran, and Dr. Grana / Indianapolis, Indiana 46260 / healthassoc320@sbcglobal.net

Thank you to everyone who has shared their thoughts on my Mom. It is great to know that she touched or inspired many of us during her time with us.

What a wonderful beam of light Gaye was. Her attitude was superlative, loving kindness and warmth always projected, a woman of Substance. Her death diminishes us all, but we know she awaits our visit when it is our turn to joint her with the angels and saints. Lord let us seek not so much to be consoled as to console. I was blessed to have known her and to know Ned!

Gay was a woman with a true spirit who was an inspiration for me when I was diagnosed with my cancer seven years ago. Through women's retreats and just seeing her at CUMC, we shared hugs of understanding of where we were on our walk of life. I will always treasure a bond that we both shared, that neither of us asked to have, but we both fought valiantly. She will always remain as one of my rocks.
May memories of happy times carry you through the tough times.
God bless.

Your mom, grandma, and wife is such a loving women. We know she is just as loving up there in Heaven as she was here on Earth. My heartfelt sympathy to all of you. Gay, was my mother in law, and she was my husband's mother. I wish that we had lived closer so that I could have known her like most of you. She sure was a fighter through her illness. She was such a good grandma to our nieces and nephews, a wonderful husband to my father in law, and a wonderful
mother to my husband.
My prayers for all of you and I hope that your cherished memories of Gay help you through this difficult time.

Gay Gilmore was my first friend. When my family moved to Wellesley, Massachusetts, Gay appeared on her tricycle to watch with me as the moving van was unloaded at 18 Cavenaugh Road. We attended kindergarten through the early part of fifth grade together and had wonderful, carefree times playing in our quiet neighborhood..
To the best of my recollection, I last saw Gay at my marriage to Karl in 1962. Regretfully, I never met Ned or their children but Gay and I faithfully exchanged yearly Christmas letters through Christmas, 2006. I am saddened to learn of her death and send my love to all the family. Fondly, Martha Elliot Hartman
